The Framecastic SDI Decoder takes MPEG-TS/UDP streams or local files and puts uncompressed baseband video and audio out on up to 16× 3G-SDI ports. It is the bridge between an IP distribution network and the SDI equipment already installed, which is still how most of a plant is wired. A built-in SMPTE test pattern generator is part of the product, for commissioning and for proving a path before there is anything to play down it.
