The Framecastic HDMI Encoder captures up to 8 HDMI inputs and encodes them in real time to H.264 or H.265 MPEG-TS for IP distribution. HDMI sounds like the simple case until EDID, 4K and HDR handshakes are involved, which is why EDID management with over 100 presets and per-input selection is a first-class control here rather than a hidden setting. It is built for the enterprise and hospitality side, where the source is a media player or a set-top box rather than a camera.
